2024 Pool Pass Rates
- Only a single individual may purchase and use an individual pass.
- Only family members or persons residing in the same household will be eligible for family passes.
- This fee covers one adult and three other individuals. Additional individuals residing in the pass holder’s residence may be added at a rate of $25 each.
- The family pass holder must be at least 18 years of age.
- An adult must accompany any family pass members under the age of 12.
How to Purchase City Park Pool Passes
Pool passes can only be purchased through the parks and recreation secretary at the Hansford Center Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00.
An application must be completed. Cash and checks will be accepted for payment. If choosing cash as a payment form, please bring exact change. For more information concerning pool passes please call Sommers at 304-722-4625 or e-mail [email protected].
Purchase Pool Bucks
The City Park Pool Bucks are a great way to save money on admission and concessions at the pool. Each punch has a $1.00 value, so you can get a lot of use out of them! They’re also a great alternative to purchasing a summer pool pass. You can purchase them at the pool.
Pricing For the City Park Pool Bucks
The City Park Pool Bucks cost $20 for a $30 value. So, you’re essentially getting a $10 discount when you purchase them. This makes them a great deal, especially if you plan on going to the pool multiple times throughout the summer.
How to Use the City Park Pool Bucks
To use the City Park Pool Bucks, simply present them at the entrance of the pool. You can also use them at the concession stand for food and drinks. Each punch has a $1.00 value, so you can use them for anything that costs $1 or less.

2024 St. Albans City Pool Barracuda Swim Team
Saint Albans City Parks and Recreation, invites you to be a member of our Barracuda Swim Team! Below you will find information regarding this year’s swim team and season. Please consider joining this fun and exciting program.
Eligibility
Children and Teens from ages 6-18. Swimmers will be divided by age groups at practice and during competitions. Must be able to swim one length of the pool unaided to participate.
Season
Monday, June 3rd : First practice and team/parent meeting at City Pool 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Practice will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
Meets will be Wednesdays.

Cost
$100 First Swimmer- Includes swimsuit, t-shirt & meet fees. As well as an individual season pass for the swimmer at City Pool.
$80 Second Family Swimmer
$70 Third Family Swimmer
$60 If you already have a swimsuit and only need a shirt.

Rent the Pool For Parties
St. Albans City Park Pool Rentals Now Available
Private Parties - Entire Pool
*Your group will have the pool and facilities to yourself.*Available for rental on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30-8:30. Excluding dates when special events will be held.*Bookings may begin on May 1st.*Total rental cost is $150, $50 of which must be supplied as a deposit upon booking.*
Prior to the pool opening bookings can be made with the Parks & Rec Secretary at the Hansford Center Mon.-Fri. 9:00-1:00. Once the pool opens all bookings will be made at the pool.*Inquiries regarding availability can be made by email or by phone, but bookings must be in-person.*A rental agreement form must be completed that outlines our policies and procedures.
Private Deck Parties
*Your group can rent space on the new deck for parties during our 11:00-6:00 operating hours.*Two deck spaces are available for rental from 11:00-2:00 and then again from 3:00-6:00.*Total rental cost is $100, $50 of which must be supplied as a deposit upon booking.*Rental also includes 10 admittance passes for your party. Additional party members will be charged general admission prices. The renter may elect to absorb those costs or can elect to have party goers pay their own admittance.*Prior to the pool opening bookings can be made with the Parks & Rec Secretary at the Hansford Center Mon.-Fri. 9:00-1:00.
