Dog Park
The Dog Park at St. Albans City Park is the perfect place for your furry friend to run and play. Our dog park offers a large open area for dogs to roam free and various obstacles and activities for them to enjoy. The dog park is located at the top of the first hill, just beyond Shelter 2. No reservations are required for the dog park.
Swimming Pool Opens May 28th
The City Park Pool is the perfect spot to cool down during the summer months. The St. Albans City Park Pool will open for the season on Saturday, May 28th. Complete details on hours and pool passes will be available for purchase soon.
Butterfly Garden & Monarch Waystation
St. Albans City Park’s Butterfly Garden & Monarch Waystation is one stop on a long journey south for the Monarch butterfly. Thanks to the hard work of local volunteers, middle school students and their teachers, and the City of St. Albans, this garden is a beautiful place for Monarch butterflies to rest and refuel as they make their way to Mexico.

Driving Directions
St. Albans City Park is accessible from either Charleston or Huntington, West Virginia. Take the short drive to St. Albans from I-64. From Kanawha Terrace in St. Albans, turn Left onto Vine Street. Follow Vine Street for 0.2mi, then turn Right onto Valley Pike / Observatory Drive. Drive 0.2mi towards the entrance sign to enter the park. Our address is 931 Observatory Drive, St. Albans, WV 25177
