ST. ALBANS, WV – The St. Albans Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of events for 2024! Both residents and visitors of St. Albans are in for a season packed with diverse and engaging activities, catering to a wide array of interests.
Our team has been hard at work organizing a variety of events that promise to keep our community both active and entertained throughout the year. From outdoor concerts and movie nights to sports leagues and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone in this year’s schedule.

- St. Patrick’s Day Party – March 15 – Hansford Center
- Easter Egg Hunt – March 30 – St. Albans City Park
- St. Albans City Park Opens for the Season – April 20
- Nature Hike – April 13 – St. Albans City Park
- Music Nights at Roadside Shelter – April 27, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14
- Kickball League (Tentative Start in Early May)
Summer Events:
- St. Albans City Park Pool Opens – May 20
- Movie Nights at St. Albans City Park – May 31, June 28, July 26, August 23
- Dragonpalooza – July 27 – St. Albans City Park
Fall Events:
- Haunted Trail – October 11, 12, 18, 19 – St. Albans City Park
- Family Fall Fun Festival – October 19 – Coleman Field
Winter Events:
- St. Albans Festival of Lights – November 26 to December 23
Year-Round Events & Activities:
- Dog Park at St. Albans City Park (Open Dawn to Dusk, Closed in December)
- Facility, Shelter, and Water Company Basement Rentals
- Zumba/Aerobics at Water Company
- School Dances/Fun Nights Year-Round
- Hiking/Biking Trails at St. Albans City Park
- 18-Hole Disc Golf Course
- Ping Pong
