ST. ALBANS WV – The St. Albans Parks & Recreation Department has announced the 2022 Schedule for the 34th Annual St. Albans Festival of Lights. The annual display of festive holiday and Christmas lights at St. Albans City Park will run from November 25th through December 23rd. With a final night scheduled on December 26th. The festival is open nightly, 6 PM – 9 PM.

SPECIAL PREVIEW: ONE NIGHT ONLY!!! Get a sneak peek of the 2022 St. Albans Festival of Lights as you walk through the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park. Our free walking tours are one night only, on November 22nd, from 6 – 8 PM. This event is open to foot traffic only and your only chance to see an up-close, intimate view of the many details that go into our hand-made Christmas light displays.
We’ll meet at St. Albans High School parking lot beginning at 5:30 PM. We will walk from the High School to City Park through the Festival of Lights. Our tours will conclude by walking back to the High School parking lot.
Free Hayrides Through the St. Albans Festival of Lights – November 23 – 6 PM – 8 PM
ONE NIGHT ONLY! Enjoy Free Hayrides Through the 2022 St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park. Join us on November 23rd, 6 PM – 8 PM, for fun and festive Free Hayrides to take in the sights and sounds of the holidays and our many hand-made Christmas Light displays and festive decor. Don’t miss this one-night-only, free public preview.
St. Albans High School parking lot beginning at 5:30 PM. We will then shuttle visitors to City Park to start our tours through the St. Albans Festival of Lights. Our tours will conclude with return shuttle trips back to the parking/staging area at the High School.
Opening Night of the St. Albans Festival of Lights – November 25th, 6 PM – 8 PM
The 34th Annual St. Albans Festival of Lights opens to vehicle traffic only on November 25th and will run nightly from 6 PM to 9 PM through December 23rd. The St. Albans Festival of Lights is open to the public, and it’s a free event, so be sure to gather your friends and family and come down to St. Albans City Park to enjoy all the festivities!
The St. Albans Festival of Lights has become a cherished holiday tradition for families in St. Albans, the Kanawha Valley, and beyond. The annual festival is considered one of West Virginia’s Longest Running Christmas & Holiday Light Displays. We’re excited to be a part of your holiday tradition every year.
There is no charge to visit the St. Albans Festival of Lights. Although this event is free and open to the public, monetary and canned food donations are accepted. All monetary donations go towards the operation of the event, while food collected goes towards helping local food banks.
